Official Hubbard County Contacts

This is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly for those actions.

Hubbard County Sheriff and HCDC

The Sheriff's Office is the correct county contact for current HCDC custody, county-held booking records, and requests under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. The booking room is appropriate for a current-custody question. Records administration is the route for older county data or copies.

Hubbard County Sheriff's Office

Main and non-emergency: 218-732-3331
HCDC booking room: 218-732-2512

Public records counter: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Call before visiting.

The Sheriff operates law-enforcement functions continuously, but the records counter has separate public hours. A written request should identify the existing record, person, approximate date, and booking number when known.

Choose the Responsible Office

A jail entry, police report, court case, and state-custody record do not always come from the same office. Use the source that holds the particular record.

  • For current HCDC status and the county booking route, use the official locator and the Hubbard County records hub.
  • For a Hubbard County criminal case or certified court material, contact Hubbard County Court Administration at 301 Court Avenue, Park Rapids, MN 56470, 218-732-5286.
  • For a Park Rapids incident report, contact Park Rapids Police at 1425 Fair Avenue, Park Rapids, MN 56470, 218-237-2711.
  • For Akeley city-held data, contact Akeley Police at 218-652-4440 or use the city's data-request form. HCDC booking records remain a separate county request.
  • For a Nevis event, the city contracts with Hubbard County for law-enforcement coverage. Start with the originating agency and the Sheriff.
  • For Minnesota state custody, use the MNDOC Locator; federal and immigration custody use the BOP or ICE locator.

For a possible warrant, use the Sheriff or court route described on the Wanted Fugitives page. Do not use the HCDC roster as a warrant list.
